Please be prepared to talk about the following when you meet with a member of the HIRE Ministry:
- Do you have a resume? If not, do you need help creating one?
- In what type of job do you see yourself—what industry, job type or title, geographic location, full time vs. part-time, etc.?
- Will you need job training?
- What have you done in your job search so far?
- Have you attended any job fairs or applied for jobs on-line?
- Have you contacted companies directly?
- Have you talked with people about your search?
- Have you had any interviews?
- How is your search going?
- Have you followed up with your job leads? How can HIRE help?
The HIRE Ministry will use this information to decide next steps (such as identifying people you should speak with for assistance with your resume, interview practice, etc.)
