Who We Are:
The Hospitality Committee provides assistance to the Pastor and Deaconate by providing meals to the sick and shut in, as well as interim meals to bereaved families and coordinating home-going repasts. We also provide meals for visiting churches and assist other ministries within the church with hospitality needs.
What We Do:
Visitors:
- Provide meals for visiting pastors, choirs and others attending a program at Heritage.
- Assist Pastoral Relations with meals and refreshments for visiting pastors.
Repasts:
- Prepare and serve meals for all repasts Only the Hospitality Ministry will take care of the repast meals
- Other ministries will be invited to assist with serving when appropriate
Assist Other Ministries:
- Prepare and serve meals for church wide activities sponsored by other ministries
- Ushers Day
- Church In Society Day
- Youth Revival
- Stephen Ministries
- Men's Day
- Women's Conference
- Breakfast for the Sunday Set Up Crew
- Assist other ministries with the planning of their events
Church Functions:
- Coordinate and prepare meals for large church activities
- Church Picnic
- Church and Pastoral Anniversaries
- Fall Outreach Spring Outreach
Provide Assistance to the Pastor and Deaconate:
- Prepare meals for the sick and shut-ins
- Prepare interim meals for bereaved families
- Coordinate with meals for sick, shut-ins and bereaved families with other ministries
- Provide breakfast for Pastor between services
